Tsutomu Nakazawa specializes in sedimentology and stratigraphy and have been involved in Quaternary geological research of the Tokyo metropolitan area through the 2D and 3D geological mapping projects of the Geological Survey of Japan (GSJ). Currently, he is also engaged in publishing geological information and its implementation in society at the Geoinformation Service Center, GSJ.
